Chemistry lab in LCS is well equipped. All the necessary chemicals and reagents required for the activities, experiments etc are available. Teachers and students can make best use of the lab and do all the activities prescribed by HP Board.
Its really a fast life in this I.T world .To update children with the latest information and to know the world by the tip of their fingers we have a full fledged computer laboratory with latest computers .The school has left no stone unturned in providing qualitative accessories to be in touch with the modern trend both online and offline. This year the lab was upgraded with new computers.
Well equipped lab with individual tables, electrical connections for every table and gas connections are provided. Also it is provided with models to make concepts in light and electricity for students to understand better.
Observations and experiments make learning more interesting and fun. Biology lab is well equipped with preserved specimens, slides, models and bio visual charts which emphasize on developing scientific temper among the students. Performing experiment is an interesting task. Students enjoy it as they learn something new from the results. Students of class IX to XII are guided for practicals. Occasionally students of other classes also make use of biology lab for various activities related to general science, which help them to learn new concepts that they have always been thinking about.
ICT classroom, have smart interactive boards along with projectors. This has broadened the scope of e-learning as it has given the teacher a tool to facilitate the students with a better content. Subject contents and study material of all subjects as per the syllabus are uploaded in collaboration with Educomp and Robomate.
The Tourism and hospitality is one of the largest service industry in India as well as in the world that includes transportation, accommodation, places of tourist interests, planning of events, etc.A few out of the numerous job roles available in the Tourism and Hospitality sector are: Travel Agent, Tour Operator, Tour Manager, General Sales Agents (GSA), Passenger Sales Agents(PSA), Travel Agency Sales & Marketing Executive Airport representatives/Meet & Greet Officer, Event Planners, Tour Escorts and Tour Guides etc
Vocational education* started in our school session 2015-16 with two Vocational Subjects Telecom ,Tourism .The main objective of vocational education is to provide practical, latest knowledge of related subjects to the students.The teaching process is to be performed through the interactive sessions in classrooms, practical activities in laboratories and workshops, projects, field visits, and professional experiences.
The school library includes Three Hundred of books to cater to the needs of growing children. New Books are added from time to time. Periodicals ,dailies and reference books are easily available. The School Library of SJGU Sen Sec School Jhagriani to the information needs of students and staff members with a collection of 3000 selected books, journals, newspapers.
A playing field is used for playing sports and games. Our playing ground is wide and well planned without any obstruction. A large playground with large dimensions is ideal for all games . Our school ground is well equipped with basket ball, volley ball and long jump pits. We also have other sports activities like aerobics, yoga, karate, and chess and students are well trained by professionals. Our school teams have represented matches in the cluster level, regional level and national level.
